SUperPlan - Intelligent 4D Construction Planning

"From design to schedule, BOM and construction simulation in minutes instead of days"

1. ANALYZE.   3D CAD systems inherently provide the size and location property values required for quantities take-off and initial scheduling.   Google SketchUp has been chosen as the host for SUperPlan automated construction planning.

2. CLASSIFY.   With no mandatory additional prerequisites such as layering conventions or a specific hierarchy of data, it is possible to determine the type (column, slab, wall, etc.) of many modelled objects according to a user defined classification system (i.e. Activity Codes), e.g. SMM7 (the RICS Standard Method of Measurement for building elements).

3. RESOURCE.   The corresponding materials, cost, man-days and other resources required for these classified objects are then calculated automatically from the object properties (volume, area, weight, etc.)   A costed BOM is then available as an Excel spreadsheet.

4. SCHEDULE.   Spatial relationships and available resources determine the basic construction sequence, via which time related costs (such as Earned Value Analysis) and construction simulation interactive review and a video record in AVI format can be generated.
